IN - 18 Introduction - General rules for maintenance and operation

● For the disposable parts including O seal rings and self-locking nuts, etc, follow the

instructions of this manual and renew these parts after removing them.
● Reserve the replaced parts for clients’ check.
b. Jack and support the vehicle.
● Take care while jacking and supporting the vehicle, and be sure to operate it in correct position. (Refer to
“Section IN Preamble-General Rules for Maintenance and Operation, Jacked and Supported Positions of
Vehicle”)
c. Glue the parts.
● The gummed parts are the parts painted with sealant before leaving the factory, e.g. bolts and nuts, etc.
● If any gummed part needs to be loosened, re-tightened or move in any mode, be sure to re-apply the
specified sealant to it.
● In case of reusing a gummed part, be sure to remove the used sealant, blow it dry with compressed air, and
then apply the specified sealant to bolts, nuts or threads.
Danger
Check the torques as per their desired lower limit.
● In case of applying the sealant, it’s required to wait for a while sometimes until the sealant is solidified.
d. Gaskets.
● Attach the seal rings to the liners to avoid oil leakage as per the demands.
e. Bolts, nuts and screws.
● Tighten up to the specified torque strictly with a torque wrench.
f. Fuses.
The same rated current
● In case of replacing the fuses, be sure to confirm the
qualified rated current of new fuse, and don’t use any
fuse with unqualified rated current.
