IN - 22 Introduction - General rules for maintenance and operation

3. Remove or install the parts of fuel control system.

a. Instructions for work site for removing or installing the parts of fuel system
● Be sure to select the well-ventilated site, and ensure no equipment or objects possible to cause open fire
around it, including welding machines, grinder, electric drill, motor and oven.
● Don’t select any filling station or its adjacent area, because the evaporated fuel may be full of whole space.

b. Remove or install the parts of fuel system.
● Prepare for the fire extinguisher before starting the operation.

● In order to avoid static electricity, it’s required to ground the vehicle or fuel tank, etc and keep the workshop
ground dry to avoid slipping.

● Don’t apply any electric appliance like motor or working lamp to avoid spark or high temperature.
● Don’t use any iron hammer to avoid any spark.
● Use a fireproof container to store the fuel-soaked rags.
4. Remove or install the parts of engine air inlet system.

Caution
If the fastener is broken during service, must replace it with a new one

● In case of removing or installing the parts of air inlet system, seal the openings of removed parts with
a clean rag or tape.
● In case of installing the parts of air inlet system, be sure to confirm no metal chippings on them.

5. Operation of hose hoop
Spring hoop
a. Before removing the hose, check the depth of plug
insertion and hoop position to re-install them correctly.

b. If the hose is deformed or notched, replace it.
c. If the hose can be reused, be sure to clip the spring hoop
into original notch.
Hoop mark d. For any spring hoop, adjust its position in the direction of
arrow after installing it.

6. Attentions for engine oil
Overlong and repeated contact with used oil may cause skin cancer, so direct contact of skin with used oil
shall be avoided as much as possible. If the skin has contacted it, clean it thoroughly with a soap or cleaning
fluid as soon as possible.

Deliver the used engine oil and its filter to the specified handling facility or used oil exchange. If any doubt,
you can consult with local officials about its handling.
It’s illegal to pour the used oil on the ground, into the sewage pipe or sewer. The regulations related to
environmental pollution may be changed in different countries.
7. Attentions for A/C system
When the refrigerant of A/C system must be drained, it’s required to use the refrigerant recovery unit.
8. Attentions for jack operation

a. Be sure to check whether the parts of jack are normal before the operation.
