Introduction - Safety rules IN - 27
The influences of their long-time excessive exposure in chemical environment may be instant, temporary or IN
permanent, accumulated, superficial, life-threatening or influence the service life.
Chemical materials--operations to be performed DI
a. Read and follow the warnings and attentions on the raw material containers carefully, as well as any
attached leaflet, poster or other operating instructions. The health and safety data sheets for raw materials can
be received from the manufacturer. EG
b. After any chemical material is stained on your body, remove it from the skin and clothing as soon as
possible, replace the seriously soaked clothing immediately, and clean it thoroughly.
TR
c. Follow the instructions for operation procedures strictly, and wear the protective clothes, so as to avoid any
direct contact with skin or eye.
d. After handling the chemical materials, first clean the body before the rest, drinking, smoking or using AX
the washing and toilet facilities.
e. Keep the working area clean and neat, and prevent the chemical materials from splashing. FR
Chemical materials--operations to be avoided
a. Unless otherwise noted by the manufacturer, don’t mix the chemical materials randomly; some chemical
materials can form other toxic or harmful chemical substances. They can emit other toxic or harmful gas and ST
may cause explosion or other accidents while mixing.
b. Don’t spray any chemical material in the closed space.
BR
c. Unless otherwise noted by the manufacturer, don’t heat any chemical material, because some chemical
materials are flammable and may emit toxic or harmful gas.
BW
d. Don’t keep the chemical material container opened, because its emitted gas may form toxic, harmful or
explosive gas. Some gas is heavier than air, and may be accumulated in closed space.
e. Don’t put the chemical materials into an unlabeled container. EL
f. Don’t apply any chemical material to clean the hands and clothes. Chemical medicines, especially solvent
and fuel, can make the skin dry, and may cause irritability, skin inflammation or influence your body health by
absorbing toxic or harmful substances through the skin.
g. Unless the container is cleaned under the supervision, don’t store other chemical materials randomly in
empty containers.
h. Don’t smell or sniff any chemical material. Its short-time exposure in high-concentration gas may lead to
poisoning or injury.
8. Dust
Powder, ash and dust may be irritant, harmful or toxic, and it shall be avoided to inhale powder-like chemical
materials and powder caused by dry frictions. If it’s poorly ventilated, it’s required to wear the breathing mask
protector to avoid dust suction. The flammable fine dust may have explosive risk to avoid explosion or fire
source.
9. Electric shock
It may cause electric shock to use the electric appliance wrongly or abuse the good equipment.
Be sure to maintain and test the electric appliance frequently within the specified time. Any faulty equipment
shall be marked and can move out of working area.
It’s prohibited to wear, twist, cut, break or damage any wire, cable, plug or socket. Don’t make any electric
appliance or wire contact water.
Ensure that electric appliance is protected with a correct fuse.
It’s prohibited to misuse any electric appliance. Don’t use any appliance with potential fault, and its results
may influence personal safety. Ensure that any cable of electric appliance can’t be clamped or damaged during
the movement.
Be sure to perform basic first-aid training for special electric appliance operators.
