IN - 24 Introduction - General rules for maintenance and operation

● The screw rod exists in the rear cover of parking brake air chamber rear cover. Use a wrench or sleeve to
loosen the screw rod until the brake is released. Remember the number of loosening turns for recovery.
Loosen another air chamber with the same method.
● Now the vehicle can be pulled. The traction rod must be used because all the brakes fails at this time.

● Remember to tighten the screw rod to its initial position after finishing the traction.
Danger
Remember to tighten the screw rod to its initial position after finishing the traction! The traction rod
must be used! When the parking brake is released via mechanical method, the vehicle can’t be
braked with a foot brake or parking brake! Ensure that the vehicle can’t move in case of releasing the
parking brake! Check the wheel stow wood and connect the traction rod!
