Diagnosis procedure

Caution
● Before performing the diagnosis, ensure the good connection of engine ECM and accelerator pedal
sensor.
● Before performing electrical diagnosis and test, refer to the schematic wiring diagram and
components information

● Before testing, check if the pins of connector are broken, loose or corroded. Make sure the pins in
good contact.
● If well connected, observe the signal voltage of sensor when moving the connector and harness. If any
fault occurs, the corresponding voltage value indicated on diagnostic unit will be changed.
1. Read the DTC and data on the diagnosis instrument

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.

b. Connect the diagnostic unit.
c. Ignition switch: ON.
d. Adopt the diagnostic unit to read the data flow of sensor.

e. Step down the accelerator pedal slowly back and forth.
f. Read the accelerator pedal signal data indicated on the diagnostic unit.
