2 0.375~2.05V
EG
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>intermittent failure TR
NO>go to Step 2.
Caution AX
If the voltage is changed but discontinuous, replace the accelerator pedal sensor.
2. Check of terminal and connector FR
a. Many faults of electric system are caused by poor connector harness and terminals, and they may be also
caused by the interference, mechanical or chemical damages of other electric systems. ST
b. Thoroughly check the connector for loosening, poor connection, bending, corrosion, pollution, deterioration
or damages.
BR
c. Repair or replace it and check the vehicle if necessary.
Check if the result is ok? BW
Yes>go to Step 3.
NO> check and repair relevant failure EL
3. Check the power circuit of accelerator pedal sensor.
a. Ignition switch: ON.
b. Check the voltage of pins 3 and 4 to ground from the
back of accelerator pedal sensor connector B019.
Standard voltage:
Multimeter connection Standard value
B0019(3)-grounding
About 5V
B0019(4)-grounding
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
NO>repair or replace the harness
4. Check the ground circuit of accelerator pedal sensor.
a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the battery negative pole
c. Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor connector B019 and ECM connector F099.
