d. Measure the resistance between Pin 1 or 5 of accelerator
pedal sensor connector B019 and Pin 88 or 65 of ECM
connector F099.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connection Standard value

B019(1)-F099(88)
About 0Ω
B019(5)-F099(65)

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.
NO>Repair or replace the failed harness

5. Check the signal circuit of accelerator pedal sensor (idle speed ).
a. Connect the accelerator pedal sensor, engine ECM connector and battery negative terminal.

b. Start the engine idling.

c. Measure the voltage of pin 2 or 6 to ground from the back
of accelerator pedal sensor connector B019.
Standard voltage:
Multimeter connection Standard value

B0019(2)-grounding About 0.75V
B0019(6)-grounding About 0.375V

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 6.
NO>replace accelerator pedal sensor

6. Check the signal circuit of accelerator pedal sensor (full load).

a. Stop the engine, step the accelerator pedal down to
bottom, and hold it.
b. Measure the voltage of terminal 2 or 6 to ground from the
back of accelerator pedal sensor connector B019.
Standard voltage:

Multimeter connection Standard value

B0019(2)-grounding About 4.1V

B0019(6)-grounding About 2.05V
