Heater and air conditioner- heater and air conditioner
28. inspect the seal conditions carefully and dispose the leakage parts before carrying out
vacuum-pumping procedure. Check whether the movement of each part is normal,
whether the cooling pipe, cooling system and electric circuit are in good conditions and
whether the performance of the air conditioner is good after completing all the installation
work.
29. inspect the clearance between the parts during the installation of the automobile parts,
don’t make them contact or be closed to each other, separate the parts with insulated
materials.
(a). The clearance between the fan casing and the condenser (or water tank): > 5 mm
(b). The clearance between the cooling fan (steel) and the condenser (or water tank): > 15 mm
(c). The clearance between the cooling fan (plastic) and the condenser (or water tank): > 20 mm
(d). The clearance between the cooling fan and the fan casing: > 15 mm
(e). The clearance between the cooling fan and the crank axle and tension pulley: > 4 mm
(f). The clearance between the cooling fan and the condenser tube: > 15 mm
(g). The clearance between the looseness side of the triangle belt and the air conditioner tube: >
20 mm
30. spring washer must be added while installing metal parts.
31. the parts installed on the engine must be screwed up in accordance with the provision.
32. don’t connect with hard pipe if the suspension part installed on each assembly is different
or its vibrations are not the same.
33. notes on electric wires
(a). The negative pole cable of the battery (or the earth wire) must be removed before installing the 51
parts in order to avoid short circuit.
(b). The connection of wire must be reliable and the fastness must be firm.
(c). Rubber retainer shall be added when the wire shall pass through the metal plate of the vehicle
(in order to protect the wire).
(d). Other circuits removed or moved away during the repairing must be restored after the repairing.
(e). The wires must be fastened in the original harness of the vehicle with plastic adhesive tape or
the original fastener.
(f). Don’t clamp the harness while installing other parts of the air conditioner.
(g). The lead wires with the same diameter must be used while welding to the original wire and the
connection points shall be wrapped with adhesive tapes.
(h). Keep the wires away from the moving parts or high-temperature parts (such as the exhaust pipe
and cylinder body of the engine), keep over 50 mm away from the heat sources.
(i). The wire must be separated from the fuel pipe for over 100 mm.
(j). Inspect carefully whether the wire contacts the sharp objects or moving parts.
