Diagnose- ABS system

Diagnostic Procedure
• Check brake line for leakage.
Is check result normal?
Yes > Repair brake line. (Refer to “Chapter 26 Service Brake-Brake System, On-Vehicle
Inspection”.)
No > Go to step 1.

1. Checking power fuse of ABS control unit
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.

(b) Check if fuse F21 (5 A) and F23 (15 A)
in body fuse block have been blown.

Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 6.
No > If fuse F21 (5A) is blown, go to step 2.
If fuse F23 (15A) is blown, go to step 4.

2. Checking circuit of fuse F21 (5A)

(a) Disconnect ABS control unit connector.
