Diagnose- ABS system
8-2 ABS Control Unit Voltage High
Diagnostic Procedure
1. Checking power supply of ABS control unit
(a) Inspect if battery voltage is below 30V. Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Replace with a new battery.
2. Checking charging system
(a) Start the engine.
(b) Inspect if charging voltage is greater than 24V and less than 30V.
Is check result normal?
Yes > Replace ABS control unit.
No > Service charging system. (Refer to Service Manual for Cummins ISF Series Engines.)
