Diagnosis-Wipers and washers

3. Checking hose

(a) Check leakage from hose.
Check hose for leakage.
Yes > Replace hose.
No > Go to step 4.
4. Checking washer motor

(a) Functional inspection
04 • Pour water into the washer pot
containing washer motor.
• Connect battery positive (+) to pin 2
of washer motor and negative (-) to
pin 1 of the motor. Check if water
can flow out of washer pot.

5. Checking combination switch

(a) Check combination switch.
Standard values:
Use a multimeter Standard
Switch position
to connect pins value
OFF 4 - 7 ≤ 2 Ω

SPRAY 12 - 8 ≤ 2 Ω

Are check results normal?
Yes > Replace harnesses.
No > Replace combination switch.
