5. Checking power and ground circuits of audio system
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect audio unit connector.
Notice:
Take care not to drop audio unit.

(c) Ignition switch: ON

(d) Use a multimeter to measure voltage
between connector pins 4 and 7 and
voltage to ground of pin 4 of audio unit
B045 respectively.
Voltage: battery voltage

.

Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 6.
No > If battery voltage is not available in either case, repair line open between fuse F15 (10A)
and connector pin 4 of audio unit B045.
If battery voltage is not available only between connector pins 4 and 7 of audio unit B045,
repair line open between connector pin 7 of the unit and grounds B208 and B209.
