CYBERSPACE

The Internet is a very dark place. Easily
manipulating the network, trolls, haters, and
cyberstalkers have turned the Internet into
their hunting ground. Information is unreliable,
identities are hidden, and nothing is what it
seems.

Online challenges like Blue Whale, unmoderated
forums like 4chan, and Internet ghouls like
Slenderman prey upon vulnerable users.
Cyberbullies use the Darknet as a mask and a
hiding place for their deeds, and no one is safe
from them.

Members of the digital generation seek validation
through social media, which affects their
perception of the truth and of themselves. This
has created an identity crisis among today’s youth.
