Online Detective
A curious and determined but virtually unknown teenage
blogger who seeks validation online to compensate for the
loss of her mother and her frequently absent father. Vera
finds a clue in Kasey Jones’s viral video suggesting the
influencer’s tragic death may have been a murder. Vera
becomes an amateur detective whose only weapon is her cell
phone. Her courage and intuition lead her on a quest to
expose the awful truth about Kasey’s abuse, and set Vera
at odds with The L3G10N. To defeat the cybercult, she must
learn to be authentic in a world in which appearances are
deceiving.
