A CELEBRATION OF
CULTURE
n 5th October 2024, El-Kanemi hostel host-
ed our ‘Theme Night’. We presented Kanu-
O ri culture. A lot of practice and effort had
been put into organising the night from our tiring
practices to the preparation of the food.
Before the night, we held practices almost every
day till we perfected our dance moves and acts. On
the morning of the event, we did the final prepara-
tions of the decorations and the arrangements of
the hall. We also cooked and prepared our meals
and drinks.
The night finally arrived and we tried our best to
put on a fantastic show for the parents, judges and
fellow boarders. It was a very fun experience with
amazing food!
