Soldiers who answered duty’s call
standing brave, standing tall

They daringly stood on their feet and fought
Their sacrifice for our country was not for nought

They went through difficult plights
Defended this country both day and night

Memories fading, Families left behind
But despair should be cast aside

We remember their sacrifice
so hold your head high

They fought head-on, In the sun and rain

Let us not forget the trials they faced
So we could live better their efforts were not in vain

To all our heroes who paid the ultimate price
The courage in which you bear

The ability with which you overcame fear.

We cherish you, we love you

We salute your courage and honour your memory today
Not individually but collectively
