ear 4 students embraced the role of detectives as they delved into mock crime
scene reporting to uncover evidence and solve a staged murder mystery. With their

sharp detective instincts, they meticulously examined materials, analysed clues,
Yand pieced together the sequence of events. Armed with notebooks and pens, the
budding reporters documented their findings and interviewed staged witnesses to gather
additional insights. This activity provided an exciting opportunity to practise journalistic
writing. The young investigators worked collaboratively to compile their evidence, crafting

detailed and engaging newspaper reports that showcased their creativity and critical
thinking.
