he KS4 Science Trip began bright and early at 5:00 a.m., with students
waking up for morning prayers before preparing for the day ahead. After
T a hearty breakfast, the group gathered for photos and boarded the bus
for their first destination: the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
At IITA, the students were welcomed by their guide, Esther Moses, who
introduced the institute’s mission of improving food production in Africa. They
learned about its focus on major crops such as maize, cassava, yam, cowpea,
