little movers club

In the Little Movers Club, children engaged in a variety of activities that fostered both coordi-
nation and communication skills. One activity involved listening for specific objects called out
by the player, prompting the children to search for corresponding flashcards. This helped en-
hance their listening skills and visual recognition.

Another group focused on recording themselves and their peers, allowing them to play back
the recordings to hear their voices. This activity encouraged self-awareness and improved their

verbal communication skills as they practised speaking clearly.

In a different exercise, children listened to
words or sentences from the player and re-
peated them, further developing their auditory
processing and verbal skills.

For eye-hand coordination, the children
played “Aim and Jump,” where they tossed a
bin bag into a hoop and then jumped into it.

This fun game required precise aiming and
jumping, enhancing their coordination and

motor skills.

Lastly, a group worked on gross motor control
by balancing on a balance board. They direct-
ed a ball towards a goal point using their body

movements, which helped improve their bal-
ance and core strength while also honing their
coordination.

Overall, the varied activities in the Little Mov-

ers Club effectively supported the development
of both coordination and communication skills
in a fun, interactive environment.
