        Heritage Third Grade Team Prepares for STAAR


                                                          The Heritage 3rd grade team has motivated their students
                                                          to pass the STAAR assessments! Students and teachers
                                                          dressed as Hollywood STAARS.  Then they let their hair

                                                          down for Rock the STAAR day.  They donned construction
                                                          attire  for  NAIL  the  STAAR.  With  Hawaiian  outfi ts,  they
                                                          Danced  their  way  through  the  STAAR.  On  the  fi nal  day,
                                                          they Splashed their way through the STAAR.  The students

                                                          worked hard to prepare for the STAAR Reading and Math
                                                          assessments.    They  earned  tickets  for  attendance  and
                                                          for putting forth their best eff ort for all of the STAAR Blitz
                                                          activities.    Students  redeemed  their  tickets  at  the  Snack

                                                          Shack, the Students vs. Teachers Volleyball Game, the Pie
        in the Face activity, and the Hit Me with Your Best Shot activity. Finally, the 3rd grade students signed a pledge
        to believe in themselves the way their teachers believe in them.

        Heritage Millionaire Reading Club


                               Our  Millionaire  Reading  club  has  encouraged  our  Heritage  Cardinals  to  become
                               voracious readers, despite the challenges that they have faced this year with online
                               learning. Students will receive prizes for reaching any of the milestones listed above
                               before the end of the school year!
