PAPER USAGE 2024

Unfortunately, paper consumption for printing in Vieira and Hilden has

increased from 2023 to 2024. Every printout creates costs and uses

resources such as wood, water and energy.

For this reason, we launched a survey on the printing behavior of all

employees. Our goal is to print significantly less this year than in 2024.

Simple measures can help to reduce consumption: double-sided printing,

smaller font sizes, digital approvals instead of printouts. Even small

changes in printing behavior can have a big impact - let's print more

consciously together and protect the environment!

WORLD WATER DAY 2025

Every year on 22.03., World Water Day reminds us how valuable water is.

In 2025, the theme was “Glacier Preservation”, which emphasized the

crucial role of glaciers as natural water reservoirs.

✔ Shower instead of bathing - saves up to 100 litres per use

✔ Fully load the dishwasher - it uses less water than washing up by hand

✔ Use rainwater - ideal for plants & watering the garden

✔ Turn off the tap - this can save up to 12 litres per minute

Every little action helps to protect water. Let's use it consciously together!
