METHODOLOGY
All the voucher specimens of P. vampyrus and P. hypomelanus in Biomedical
Museum of IMR were gathered according to the field tagging. All field notes were
matched with the legibly written catalogue sheet to substantiate the source of
information. The distinguished morphology characteristics between both species
were highlighted in Figure 1A and 1B. The P. vampyrus has larger diastema
between the upper canine and the very small first premolar than in P. hypomelanus
as shown in Figure 1D and 1C (Lekagul & McNeely, 1977).
