Chapter 6: Wildlife Management System (Planning)
A detailed discussion of the wildlife management system or planning are discussed in Chapter 3 of this WMP
Guideline.
Chapter 7: Management Cost
Provide information on:
i. Cost estimation of implementing the WMP.
ii. Plan for staff training to develop competency to discharge responsibilities on wildlife management
requirements and compliance. The training areas shall include maintenance and performance monitoring,
wherever relevant.

Chapter 3: • Provides an outline of the relevant baseline
Baseline Data information, such as major findings of flora and
fauna diversity highlighted in the WMP report and
gathered elsewhere from the field and other
reports, as well as interviews that were associated
with the WMP.
Chapter 4: • Provides the methodology and tools to identify,
Evaluation of Impacts predict, evaluate and assess the possible impacts
on wildlife.
• The predicted impacts are divided into three
phases; preconstruction, construction and
operation
Chapter 5: • Identifies practical measures to minimise the
Mitigation Measures potentially negative impacts arising from the
project’s development; and the types of measures
to manage residual impacts.
Chapter 6: • Provides requirements to decide if a WMP or
Wildlife Management System related development project activities need WMP.

management programmes, monitoring
processes, methods to be implemented, cost of
implementing the plan, and practicality of the
