The ancient Jewish secret says that the nature of man is to react
to the possibility of what is likely to happen tomorrow. When you
have conquered this part of you, then total freedom is yours for
good. I have said it before that the bible is a book of wisdom and
principles. When I have fully understood the principle I am sharing
with you, I stumbled on this passage in the bible attributed to
Jesus. If you can grasp the quote below then the whole principle
becomes clearer to you.
Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of
its own.
When something seemingly unpleasant happens, stay calm. ‘Stop
trying to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass’ Buddha
The power of this principle is that when you do not react to the
likely outcome of any occurrence, you develop a new power which
bends the outcome your way. However, when you react with
anger, stress, hatred, revenge etc.; it means that you have failed
the test. You will experience that similar occurrence (another test)
in future and you should be wiser not to react.
In business, there are so many uncontrollable factors than in any
other discipline. Therefore, my desire to share this principle with
you may help you deal with life in a more balanced and resourceful
way.
Separate your actions from the outcome
Keep your actions going and adjust your actions based on
feedback.
If you don’t get the outcome you want, examine your plan and start
more intelligently.
Never stress about whether the outcome may be one thing or the
other.
In the football analogy, it is similar to enjoying your game and don’t
worry too much about the result. You are at peace whatever the
result. In England, there is a song from the terrace that goes
‘Que será, será
Whatever will be, will be
