Chapter Six - How to Scale Up Your Business
- RINSE AND REPEAT (WATERFALL
We are now on ‘R’ RINSE AND REPEAT’ What does it mean?
It is like an endless loop of repeating the same steps, time and
again continually for a long period.
The reference to ‘rinse and repeat’ has to do with what I called
‘Funnel Throughput’.
This is to introduce the concept of the funnel which some of you
may be familiar with in your experience of running a business. If
you are new to the business world and you are reading this, please
note this is not the funnel used to pour liquid into a bottle (just
joking). The process of creating funnels is like the input -process-
output. This is divided into 3 distinct parts, but each part may be
sub-divided but for the purpose of this illustration, we would just
stay with those 3 parts namely
• Acquisition
• Conversion
• Value Delivery
The technical explanation: is a consumer-focused marketing
model, which illustrates the theoretical customer journey towards
the purchase of a product or service. Let me share a graphic with
you to illustrate it.
