It is well. Writing a tribute for mummy is not an easy one because there’s just too
much to say. Mummy was extremely caring, loving, hardworking and always willing to
go the extra mile for her loved ones. Her willingness to share literally everything she
had is unmatched.

Our doctor who was quick to take care of you immediately and extensively. For
example, when I had a domestic accident, mummy came with her Doctor’s kit and
administered first aid. Then she drove me to the laboratory for the necessary tests.
Or was it when I lost my son; she would stop by in the morning on her way to work
and ask my sisters how things were at night, she would also stop by in the evening to
know how things were. She made sure I ate and my B.P. was in check. In fact, she
gave all the necessary medical attention I needed.

A great hostess and cook, she would never want you to leave her house without
taking something. A cheerful giver who gave her time, money and energy without you
asking. She sees a need and does not hesitate to handle it. Mummy gave her love. She
was part of the family and not an in-law. She celebrated with us; marriages, burials,
successes and achievements. She was very active and part of us.

Even in handling her patients, she was never in a hurry, she would question and
examine them thoroughly.

We give thanks because we know she has gone to a better place. Her memories live
on in our hearts.

My loving ‘in-love’ because she was not an ‘in-law’ but a ‘mother-in-love’. May her
soul rest in perfect peace and may God bless and keep the souls she left behind.

Chief (Mrs.) Kiladejo`

Dr. Mrs Asagba was a very humble person, very unassuming. She was one of the
foundation members of the Elderly Forum of the Church of Pentecost and very active.
She lectured the Elders on health matters.

After her retirement from government work, she took up part-time employment with
Amuwo-Odofin L.G. in Festac. Many patients always preferred she attended to them
because she would listen attentively to patient’s complaints before prescribing

Anytime you meet her outside (the clinic) she was always willing to render her
service. She was also a good counsellor to her patients who in many cases would leave
satisfied.

She was a member of Christ The King society and a dedicated financial member of the
church. She always participated in Ondo State harvest yearly.

She was one of the foundation doctors of the Church Medical Centre.

Her absence was very much felt when she could no longer attend the Elderly meeting.
When the church heard about her illness and admission, they sent a team of pastoral
