No matter how early or late, you would always remember my birthday and send
me a card.
I’ll be forever grateful to call you my ‘grandmother’. Even though time will
continue to pass, I’ll always cherish my memories of you.
Olumide Asagba
Grandma was a caring and thoughtful person.
From things like going out of her way to buy us sweet treats whenever we stayed
with her while little, to remembering small details from our phone calls the week
before.
Her kindness and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten and she would be dearly
missed.

Grandma was a very caring and loving person. I remember when she used to
attempt to force my brother and I to eat more food even though we were already
full, on the pretext that we were not looking chubby. She was an amazing woman
who was proud of her family and very supportive.
She liked the guitar and always encouraged me to keep playing and looked
forward to me playing for her again. I would miss our weekly conversations.
She was also a pillar in her community and loved to help people with her gift,
which is why she continued working even after she had retired.
I would miss speaking to her every week.

Dear Grandma,
Thank you so much for the excess and unconditional love you showed to me, my
sisters and even my Mum and Dad. Your impact on me and all of us as a whole
lives on, even in death.
Your loving Grandson,
David Asagba
