1 Lay the two ends of the rope together
and then make a crossing turn keeping
all neat and flat.
2 Tuck the right-hand end, which should be
under the crossing of the turn, down
through the loop already formed.
- 3 Bring fhe left-hand end, which was on
top, round and up through the loop.
Make sure that the right-hand end does
not slip out of the loop.
4 Pull tight, ensuring that the short ends do
not pop out.
5 The finished knot.
