                                                               Six-strand crown sennit



                                                               1 Make a crown knot with six strands. Pull
                                                                  as tight as possible—but there will always
                                                                   be a slight hole in the middle.

                                                               2 Repeat the crown—in the same direction
                                                                   if a round sennit is required and in the
                                                                  alternate direction if a hexagonal sennit is

                                                                  wanted. If you want, a core can be put in
                                                                  the middle to fill the hole that forms in the
                                                                  center of the sennit.

                                                               3 Repeat until the required length is made.
