Habit 35: They make family a priority

As previously mentioned, Matt Damon and his wife have a rule

that cannot be broken. They cannot spend more than two weeks

apart. That means that if a movie was going to keep them more

than two weeks apart, it is highly unlikely that Matt would accept

the role. He makes his family a priority and it is something that he

shares with most of the other successful people that we

researched.

Habit 36: They build relationships with like-minded

people

If you want to be a musician, the best way to improve yourself and

get feedback that is going to help you hone your craft is by

hanging out with other musicians. Successful people know that

they need to hang out with people who share the values and

goals that they do – people that are active in making things

happen and consistently reaching their goals.

Habit 37: They build the right team

Successful people know that they could not achieve success

without the help of some very skilled and talented people. That’s

why they make sure that they are surrounded by the right team.

For example, Matt Damon would not have the movie career that
he enjoys today if it wasn’t for his talent agent, his directors, the
