In addition to continuously planning and

constructing park and green space system, the Parks
and Street Lights Office in Taipei City Government,
under the influence of global extreme climate and
environmental development trends along with the
impact of urban heat islands effect and pollution of
PM 2.5, in response to changes in the climate and

environment, and needs of citizens ‘ life, has taken
opinions from public and promoted development
and diversification of the park green space in Taipei
City in recent years. Parks are no longer just parks
for a restful place and scenery, but also places needed
to think about ecological, disaster prevention,
sustainability, and inclusiveness, places continue to
enhance the coverage and quality of the park green

space in Taipei City, and create a better green living
environment and an impressive of international
tourism city.
