MR. MORRIS DUKES, JR.
Homegoing services for Mr. Morris Dukes, Jr., who passed away October 18, 2020, will be held at New Salem Primitive Bap- tist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, FL 33602, on Satur- day, October 24, 2020, at 2 p. m., with Rev. Danny C. Osborne offi- ciating.
There will be a public viewing on Friday, October 23, 2020, from 6 p. m.-8 p. m. Interment will fol- low at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Morris was born on October 3, 1953 in Orangeburg, SC to Martha Taylor and Morris Dukes, Sr.
Morris was preceded in death by: his father, Morris Dukes, Sr.; sister, Lou Ethel Sealy; brothers, Frank Sims, Larry Dukes, Ronald Jones, Donald Jones; 2 step-chil- dren, Dorisann Alexander, Virgie Jackson-Alexander; significant other, Pearl Ann Lynch-Jackson; and nephew, Herman Williams.
Morris leaves to cherish his memories with: his mother, Martha Taylor; sisters, Yvonne Reed, Betty Sharpe (Lee), Carrie Dukes (Thomas), Barbara Barton Johnson, and Rosa Garvin; broth- ers, Cleveland Tisdale-Simms, Herman Jones, Ernest Allen; and brother-in-law, Johnny Wilson; nieces and nephews: Purvis Sealy (wife), Ronnie Williams (Shar- ron), Paulette Washington (Brit- ten), Sherman Williams, Jihad Muhammad (Renae), Alisa Sealy (Matthew), Iesha Davenport, Cheryl Dukes, James Poole, Steve Jackson, Martha Perry, Angela Vann, Albert Perry, Rosa Smith, Rudy Fletcher, Jose Reed, Sandra Tisdale, Tubalee Sims, Dana Richardson, and Jimmy Richard- son, Jr.; and a host of other rela- tives, family, and friends, including Earnest Knight and Mary Riley.

Mama, you taught us that what we need, God’s got it, and to come on over on the Lord’s side. These were your favorite songs. We thank God for all the prayers, you prayed for us.
It’s been 11 years, but it seems like yesterday. We miss you so much. We still shed tears, but we know you’re in a better place with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
