Kendrick Lamar's par- ents should have been fea- tured on his new album, DAMN. That's what Kendrick's mom, Paula Oliver texted the Compton rapper. When she heard the album for the first time she said...OMG, it’s the boomb!
And she was right, because K-Dot is officially king of the Billboard 200 chart as the numbers for DAMN‘s debut are in, according to Hits Daily Double.

Actor John Witherspoon played the father of Ice Cube’s character in all the ‘Friday’ movies.
John Witherspoon says that Ice Cube told him that a fourth Friday movie has got the green light.
In an interview with The Power 95.3’s GetUpCrew in Orlando, Witherspoon said that it looks like the first Fri- day movie since 2002’s Fri- day After Next could finally be coming.
He says he ran into Ice Cube at an airport recently and that he told him the proj- ectisago.
A fourth Friday movie has been in demand for more than a decade now.
Last year the rumor intensi- fied when fake flyers featuring Cube, his son, Oshea Jack- son, Jr. and DC Young Fly began circulating online.
After weeks of the images being shared, Cube finally came forward to shoot down the rumors.
It's been 15 years since "Fri- day After Next" ... and a lot's changed since then. Cube's a bonafide power player in Hol- lywood now -- with the success of "Straight Outta Compton" - - which could mean bigger budget for the 'Friday' sequel.

Young Jeezy Sued And Accused Of Murder
The heirs of slain concert promoter Eric Johnson are suing Young Jeezy, accusing the rapper of killing their fa- ther.
Johnson was fatally shot backstage at a Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa concert in Mountain View, California in 2014, and now his family is calling for justice.
The dead promoter’s chil- dren claim an eyewitness told Mountain View police officials the shooter looked like Jeezy, and the witness repeated that claim in a deposition – and picked the rap star out of a photo line-up as the killer.

The People v. O.J. Simpson: An American Crime Story star, whose father, Cuba Gooding, Sr., was found dead in his car on Thursday on a busy street in Woodland Hills, California, at age 72, took to Instagram on Friday to give a simple, heartfelt nod to his dad's soul-singer legacy.
"Eternal," Gooding, Jr. captioned a pic of the Great- est Hits album cover for leg-
endary Motown group, The Main Ingredient.
Gooding, Sr. was the lead singer for the group, which was most famous for the timeless '70s hits "Everybody Plays the Fool" and "Just Don't Want to Be Lonely.”
The investigation into Gooding, Sr.'s death is on- going, and cause of death is still undetermined pending autopsy results. There was al- cohol and drug paraphernalia found in the car.
Gooding is survived by his wife and four children.
