Drake Says He’s Never Met IG Model Who Claims She’s Having His Baby
DRAKE AND LAYLA LACE
Lawsuit Claims Birdman And Slim Williams Are Doctoring Books To Keep From Paying Royalties
Drake may have been ac- cused of getting Instagram model Layla Lace pregnant, but he reportedly isn’t too wor- ried about the situation, seeing as he’s never met her! Drake reportedly thinks her ‘fake claims’ are totally ‘ridiculous.’
Drake, 30, has been at the center of one crazy controversy last week that he’s yet to pub- licly respond to — the accusa- tion that he got Layla Lace, an Instagram model, pregnant.
But there is apparently a very good explanation behind why the “Hotline Bling” singer has- n’t spoken out against the model’s allegation. Drake thinks what Layla is saying is so far out of left field he didn’t
even feel the need to get his team on the scandal, because according to him, he has never met Lace.
Layla revealed her preg- nancy news on Instagram on April 18 in a rant in which she swears that she and Drake hooked up in London and that he totally ghosted her once he found out she was pregnant. Since then she has taken down those posts, something many people believe that Drake’s team had forced her to do.
But Drizzy’s people report- edly think Layla started up the rumor mill for attention and just took them down once she got people talking.
‘More money, more prob- lems.’
Brian “Birdman” Williams and his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams are also accused of falsifying financial accounting records, in a new lawsuit filed by the owners of the record label that originally signed hit rap- per Drake.
Aspire Music Group was created by industry power- houses Cortez Bryant, Gee Roberson, and Derrick Lawrence.
In a new suit filed last week on April 18 in Manhattan, As-
Birdman and Slim
pire claims Cash Money de- liberately interfered with their recording deal with the
Drake.
The lawsuit claims the Williams’ and Cash Money provided fraudulent account- ing statements, and beat As- pire out of their portion of a $10 million advance Drake received from Cash Money, to deliver his first six albums for the label.
Aspire claims Cash Money rarely presented any state- ments regarding Drake’s earnings, and when they did, the documents comprised of mostly overstated deduc- tions, and eventually, nothing at all.
Mary J. Blige Claims Ex-Husband Spent $420,000 Of Business Money On Side Chick
Mary J. Blige has report- edly claimed that her es- tranged husband falsely claimed business expenses during their marriage and spent that money on his new girlfriend.
The “No More Drama” hit- maker filed legal papers to end her 12-year marriage from Martin “Kendu” Isaacs in July and the former couple has been fighting over his request for almost $130,000-a-month in spousal support ever since.
Mary J. Blige and estranged husband, Kendu Issacs.
According to new court docu- ments, Blige, 46, claims her estranged husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs spent more than $420,000 during their marriage on “travel charges” that involved his girlfriend, not her.
Blige also claims that Isaacs drives a Mercedes that she pre-paid the lease on and that he refuses to turn over possession of her “Grammy and other achievement awards.”

Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Spending A Lot Of Time Together
Sleep tight, kids (and Nick Cannon)!
Mariah Carey posted a se- riously adorable picture on In- stagram Thursday night, reading her 51⁄2-year-old twins, Moroccan and Mon- roe, a bedtime story while their dad slept next to them.
The singer captioned the photo, “#bedtimestories #demkids #family @nickcan-

gether, with the “Hero” singer posting a sweet picture of them painting Easter eggs together.
The Ruff Ryders Reunion show at the Barclays Center turned into a rough night for the label’s biggest star, DMX.
DMX’s life and career have had many well-documented ups and downs since then and it seems his demons returned during his set at the Ruff Ry- ders Reunion show on Friday night.
By most accounts, the night was going great as Swizz Beatz, Eve, The Lox, Cas- sidy, and Drag-On had the crowd on their feet all night. Special guests French Mon-
tana, Fat Joe and Remy Ma added to the excitement as well. But when it was time for night’s headliner to take the stage things took a downward turn.
Many fans have posted footage on social media of DMX struggling to finish his songs and many times mum- bling his lyrics. He also went on a handful of rants about the demons that are haunting him. His behavior has led many to assume that he was on drugs, raising concerns for his well- being.
