    Ebony Magazine’s Historic Photo Archive Heads To Auction
 Nearly four million his- toric photos taken by Ebony magazine photographers over the years, which became the soundtrack of the lives of African Americans during pivotal moments in history, will now be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
On Wednesday, the auc- tion of the archive collection will take place in Chicago and is organized by Hilco Stream- bank. This past April, the publishing company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protec- tion and the court approved for the photos to be sold to repay Johnson Publishing’s debtors, reports The Chicago Sun-Times.
Johnson Publishing un- loaded its’ Ebony and Jet magazines three years ago and has been pushing for the sale of the photo archive since 2015. The archive holds
Chairman of Ebony Media Michael Gibson, Chairman of Ebony Media Operations Linda Johnson Rice and Co-Founder and Vice Chairman CVG and Vice-Chairman of Ebony Media Willard Jackson.
  4 million images dating back to the civil rights era, while also telling the visual story of icons like Muhammed Ali and Emmett Till.
The historic photos in- clude iconic pictures of Mar- tin Luther King, Jr., Sammy Davis, Jr., Diana Ross, Nat “King” Cole, Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, Prince and Ste-
vie Wonder, among many others.
Captured in the photos was the essence of the legendary celebrities doing everything, things like Ray Charles playing dominoes, Eartha Kitt tending to her garden and a snap of Muhammad Ali sitting in his car with a full-size record player, the outlet reports.

Has hitmaker Pharrell been secretly working on Ri- hanna’s highly anticipated next album? It appears so.
According to Billboard, fans have been impatiently waiting for the the Barba- dos-born pop star to take a break from building her global empire and get back in the studio, but it appears that new Rihanna music may be closer than we all think.
After the singer posted a video of Love & Hip-Hop’s Karlie Redd during a real- ity show meltdown, Phar- rell joined in on the front
and did some trolling in the comments section himself, responding with, “They ain’t ready,” with a globe emoji.
Rih spent the first half of the month popping up in people’s comment sections to dispel rumors that her new project would be launching in July, she did let it slip that we could expect to get a pleasant surprise from her at some point in 2019.
That’s when Pharrell joined in on the front and did some trolling in the com- ments section himself, re- sponding with, “They ain’t ready.”
  Blac Chyna Sued For $2 Million For Allegedly Outing Former Friend, Prompting Suicide Attempt
 It looks like Blac Chyna has another legal battle on her hands.
The reality star is being sued for $2 million by a for- mer friend who alleges she outed him as gay, ruined his life, and prompted a suicide attempt, according to The- Blast.
The reality star who shares daughter, Dream with Rob Kardashian is reportedly asking a judge to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Justin C. Jones, an actor who also goes by Pilot Jones.

According to reports, he
claims Chyna and Rob outed him on social media after a leaked photo of Jones making out with Chyna emerged, causing a rift be- tween her and Rob. Jones says Chyna and Rob outed him and released his per- sonal phone number to the public and resulted in him re- ceiving threatening mes- sages.
Jones alleges that the or- deal ruined his life and claims he attempted suicide as a result. He’s seeking $2 million in damages.

   Malcolm Lee has made the majority of his films with Universal TV's sister movie studio; all of those have re- couped their production budget, often by wide mar- gins. Night School has made about $85.5 million world- wide thus far against a re- ported $29 million budget, while Girls Trip earned more than seven times its $19 mil- lion budget at the box office.
