Love & Hip Hop star Brit- tney Taylor reportedly got in a heated brawl that covered two different floors of her Manhattan luxury apartment. According to TMZ, Taylor was arrested early Friday (June 14), after a fight began in her apartment. The celebrity news outlet says sources told them that Brittney and an unnamed woman were arguing before things got physical.
Taylor allegedly scratched the woman, which left visible marks on her, and she fled to an elevator. That wouldn’t be the end of it though as Brit-

alleged victim in the lobby and another beatdown ensued. Taylor allegedly pulled out her cell phone and threw it at the woman, hitting her in the forehead.
A little while later, NYPD showed up after Brittney fled to her apartment. She was re- portedly arrested for assault and aggravated harassment, both of which are misde- meanors.
She was released without bail. Sanford Rubenstein, Taylor’s attorney, says his client has a court date set for next month to face the charges.

life also made headlines this week because he took to Insta- gram to slam the fashion choices of Victor Cruz, who is dating Brown’s ex-girl- friend Karrueche Tran.
“No shade boo, BUT PLEASE STYLE HIM,”

A Rick James biopic is re- portedly in development, but no cast or director has been announced, movieweb.com reports.
The outlet notes that the project is currently in pre- nproduction, and more news is expected to drop soon.
James gave the world such funk classic as “Super Freak,” “Give It To Me Baby” and “Mary Jane,” and he wrote/produced songs for Teena Marie, The Mary Jane Girls, the Tempta- tions, and Smokey Robin-
son.
Prince.org notes that his songwriting talent “caught the attention of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Au- thors and Publishers), and al- lowed him the chance to experience a lifetime achieve- ment award before it was too late.”
