Howard W. Blake Class Of 1967
The Howard W. Blake High School class of 1967 will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, March 4, 2017, 11 a. m. The meeting will be held at the home of King Davenport, 4604 Riverhills Dr., Temple Terrace (33617).
All class members are asked to be present and on time as there are matters of importance to be discussed.

The National Council of Negro Women Tampa Metro- politan Section invites the community to its membership meeting, Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 10 a. m.

Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune
founded the National council Of Negro Women (NCNW) as a strong voice for African American women and their families. As NCNW has contin- ued to grow, the organization serves as a leader and catalyst for positive change with re- search, awareness, advocacy, community-based program and services in America.
Help us keep Dr. Bethune’s legacy going; come out and join us.
Meetings are held 1st Sat- urday each month at 5815 34th Street, Tampa, 33610. Re- freshments and fish dinners available at March meeting. Join the NCNW Tampa Metro- politan Section and help us provide greater support for our programs in the Tampa Bay area.

This week, we bring you Dreanna as our Spotlight feature. This young lady is new on the modeling scene, and says she’s having the thrill of her life. Dreanna loves being in front of the camera and is a very outgoing and fun person. She has a unique ex- otic look that is sure to gain the attention of those at the top of the industry. Congratulations to Dreanna as this week’s Spotlight feature.
2 County Teams Left To Play In
State Tournament
Two of Hillsborough County’s boys’ high school bas- ketball teams still have to play at the State Tournament being held this week in Lakeland.
On Wednesday, Tampa Catholic High defeated The Villages, 92-67, in the 5A clas- sification. The win was called ‘The Kevin Knox Show’ as he putup40points,made7of73 pointers and had 20 rebounds.
Saturday morning, the Cru-
saders will take on Ft. Laud- erdale Calvary Christian in the 10 a. m. title contest.
Sickles High, coached by Renaldo Garcia, will face Lakewood Ranch in the 8A semi-final contest Friday after- noon (3-3) at 2 p. m.
In the 4A classification on Wednesday, Seffner Christian Academy lost to Ft. Lauderdale Westminister, 58-45, ending their chances to move on.
Former Bucs To Join Dads And Their Families At Park Event
Former Tampa Bay Bucca- neers Harry Hamilton and Frank Murphy will be in Tampa on Saturday, March 3, 2017, for a day of fun in the park.
Joining Together Eliminat- ing Poverty (JTEP) will be hosting the event. A 501c3 or- ganization, JTEP was founded by Melody Haynes and Alayna Vernon in May 2016.
Dads and their families are invited to Saturday’s event 9 a. mto3p.m.“DadsTake Tampa” will be at MacFarlane Park, 1700 N. MacDill Ave. (33607). The public is invited.
Hamilton and Murphy are described as “great role models and amazing dads.” “The goal is to provide the dads with fun ways to engage with their children for little or no money and provide them with ideas they can replicate at home,” states Ms. Haynes.
As a player with the Bucs and even after leaving Tampa, Atty. Hamilton made annual trips to Tampa as a co-sponsor of Azzie Northern’s Project ‘H’ events.
