WILSON
MR. JOSEPH D. (JOEY) STEEL
Mr. Joseph (Joey) D. Steel, age 32, of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 30, 2017. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at North- west Tampa Church of God, 5131 Gunn Highway, Tampa, FL 33624, with Pastor Ernest Roberts, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Chapel of Peace, 11005 U. S. Hwy 301, North Thonotosassa FL 33592.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim.
Joey is survived by his mother, Curdel; brother, Daniel of Tampa, and sister, Rebekah of Berkeley, CA.
Joey was born on March 9, 1985 to Curdel and James Steel in California. He moved to Tampa as a young child. Joey lived in Wildwood in the Carrollwood area of Tampa. Joey attended Berkeley Preparatory School where he played football and basket- ball. Joey learned to play the bagpipes in school. He also at- tended Middleton High School, where he also played football, and later attended Florida Gulf Coast University.
Joey will be remembered by a large extended family in California and Jamaica whom he loved and who loved him.
A reception will follow at Morningstar Church, 5102 W Linebaugh Ave., Tampa, FL 33624, 1 - 4 p. m. after the in- terment.
Friends are asked to as- semble at the church on Sat- urday at approximately 10 a. m. for the viewing and service.

Mrs. Pearlie Mae (Norwood) Raines was born on November 15, 1928. She was born and raised in Tampa, FL. Pearlie attended the public school of Hillsborough County and received her AA de- gree from a New York College. She was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years (Pastor Madison Murray) and later joined Holy Outreach for Christ (Pastor Ala Faye Vickers).
Pearlie was a wonderful and loving mother to her two chil- dren, Mary Sails and Robert Nor- wood. She was a woman with a sincere love for the Lord, family, friends and anyone she came in contact with. She was a shining example of Christianity. As she departed her earthly body to be in the presence of the Lord, we who are left behind will miss her so much but, our confidence is that she is smiling down on us from above. Pearlie was one of the original members of the Blessed Seven Christmas Savings Club es- tablished over 15 years ago until she could no longer attend. She never missed a meeting and she exhibited total dedication to her club and its members.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, October 27, 2017 from 5-8 p. m. with the family present from 5–6 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 1:45 p.m. for the service.

Earlia R. Gaubedon was called home to be with the Lord; therefore a crown of righteousness awaits her. RIP Grandma.
Evangelist Earlia Rebecca Gaubedon, died at the age of 90, in Tampa, on Thursday, October 9th, 2017. Born on May 11, 1927 in St. Mary, Ja- maica, W. I., she lived in Eng- land, and New York, before finally settling in Orlando, Florida. She was a registered nurse, who trained in England, before moving to New York, where she continued until her retirement.
Evangelist Gaubedon was a devoted Christian. She was a member of the Shiloh Apos- tolic Church in Jamaica, Mount Calvary Apostolic Church, Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic in New York and a founding member of the First United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic in Kissimmee. Due to failing health, she moved to Tampa to be cared for by her daughter, Valerie and family.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Pearlie Mae (Norwood) Raines will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2 p. m. at New Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3325 E. Emma Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Ronnie L. Murray, Sr., offi- ciating.
Pearlie transitioned from her earthly home to The Bosom of The Father on October 17, 2017. Inter- ment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pearlie was preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Raines; her mother, Sarah Thompson; her sis- ter, Mary Rawls; and her great- grandson, Durayl Sails.
