#FixThePipes Campaign
To Help Flint Residents
B.o.B. has released ‘Ether’.
Detroit-bred rap star Big Sean has been one of the most involved entertainers in help- ing residents of Flint, Michi- gan dealing with the city’s water crisis.
In 2016, Sean donated $10,000 for the #HealFin- tKids fundraiser, and he worked with the Heal Flint Kids project. The “One Man Can Change The World” per- former has now also joined Green For All’s #FixThePipes campaign.
“It’s been three years since Flint’s poisoning, and city res- idents are still years away from getting needed relief. That’s why we launched #FixTheP- ipes – to help Flint families get the help they need now,” stated Vien Truong, director of Green For All.
Michigan reached a settle- ment with the federal govern- ment to address the public health crisis facing nearly 20,000 households, but it could take up to three years for some citizens to see im- provements.

Acts including Migos and Major Lazer were told to stay away from the disastrous Fyre Festival, a new lawsuit brought against its organizers alleges.
The Bahamas-based festival, billed as a lavish event where fans could mingle with the stars, was abandoned in chaos last month after festival goers arrived to discover luxury ac- commodations were non-exis- tent and infrastructure was incomplete.
The new complaint, filed in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday by attendees Sean Daly and Edward Ivey, is the seventh brought against festival organizers Billy Mc- Farland and Ja Rule.
It alleges that McFarland and Ja Rule were aware the festival was unlikely to go ahead as planned and told performers not to fly in, but neglected to inform ticket holders.
In addition to Migos and Major Lazer, other acts signed up to perform at the event included Tyga, Pusha T, Desiigner and Blink- 182.
The Game teased news that his upcoming Westside Story album would be his final recorded project, much to the dismay of his fans.
The Compton OG confirmed that he’s going full steam ahead with his rap retirement plans by way of a photo alongside Kendrick Lamar announcing that he’s begun recording the
LP.

Kenny posed in what appears to be a seafood restaurant in the photo posted to Game’s Insta- gram page. The caption seems to hint at the fact Game and Lamar have allegedly either been in the studio or will be in the studio to work on Westside Story.
Detroit native Big Sean has become involved with the water crisis in Flint.
In order to help the people of Flint faster, Green For All is looking to raise over $500,000 for its campaign.
The organization estimates it will cost about $10,000 to improve the pipes in just one home.
Besides Big Sean, fellow celebrities Van Jones, Com- mon, Russell Simmons, and Frances Fisher have en- dorsed #FixThePipes as well.

Kodak Black’s New Attorney Says He Is Enrolled In Program, May Be Released Soon
Kodak Black in court with his new attorney recently. He was ar- rested for violating his house arrest and was facing a possible 8- year sentence.
Karruche Tran has been making headlines over the past few months for claiming her ex Chris Brown abused and threatened her, and for filing a restraining order against him.
Recently, it was reported that Tran is preparing to testify against her ex in court.
For the most part Brown re- mained mum, but he’s now lash- ing out at the allegations.
In a comment made on the Baller Alert Instagram page, Brown says, “I’m so sick of these thirsty adults,” wrote Brown. “Her team is trying their best. For what? No one has
served me and the lengths they are going, I should call them stalkers.”
Brown claims that Tran’s al- legations are a ploy to bring up his known abusive past from the 2009 Rihanna assault.
He goes on to say they that he doesn’t want anything to do with Karrueche, and that her team keep hounding him. “I want nothing to do with her,” he wrote.
Brown is currently on “The Party Tour” and is slated to re- lease a 40-track double album Heartbreak on a Full Moon later this year.
Dieuson Octave aka Kodak Black's one-year jail sentencing for violating his house arrest is now a thing of the past, and now that the dust has cleared, his fans are curious as to how things are looking for their fave.
The rapper's new attorney, Bradford Coden, released a statement detailing his client's progress and it seems as things are looking up.
In the statement, Cohen highlighted that the "Skrt" rapper is enrolled in a life
skills course which he is try- ing to complete within the next 30 days.
Kodak is currently serving time at the Joseph V. Conte Facility in Pompano Beach, FL, and despite his current sentence, he may be released in about a month if he com- pletes the course. The rapper, who has been behind bars since February, may luck out with a reduced sentence of 180 days instead of 364 if he does as his attorney high- lighted.
