Groundbreaking For Gardens At Diana Pointe
The Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its newest housing development – Gardens at Diana Pointe. The development is off of 43rd St. and Diana. (Photos by Frederick Harris)

Open House Held For Community Input On Julian Lane River Center Art
The Pep Rally, a West Tampa collaborative of artists, has been commissioned to create artwork for the Julian B. Lane River Center building. The final of 3 meetings held to get input from the commu- nity was held August 29, 2017 at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center Complex.
The City of Tampa is currently renovating the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, where the River Center will be housed. Inside the center will be a Boat House Community Center with an interior piece of art created by Pep Rally.
Pep Rally is a team of professional artists based in West Tampa who are stylistically and culturally diverse, and represent Anglo, African, Caribbean, Irish, and Cuban communities. (Photos by Frederick Harris)
