President Obama & Race To The White House
Purple Preciousness:
President Obama Says ‘Sexism’ Is Reason Presidential Race Is So Close
President Sings ‘Purple Rain’ To Trick Or Treater

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Pres- ident Barack Obama said Tuesday that sexism is to blame for the tight race for the White House, telling an Ohio crowd that "Hillary Clinton is consis- tently treated differently than just about any other candidate I see out there."
Pres. Obama went on: "There's a reason we haven't had a woman president."
Speaking specifically to "the guys out there," the President told them to "look inside your-

self and ask yourself, if you're having problems with this stuff how much of it is that we're just
not used to it?"
He noted, "When a guy is
ambitious and out in the public arena and working hard, well that's okay, but when a woman suddenly does it, suddenly you're all like, 'Well, why's she doing that? I'm just being hon- est."
The president added that Clinton is "so much better qual- ified than" Republican Donald Trump. "This notion that it's somehow hard to choose? it shouldn't be."

We don’t know what was cuter – the little boy dressed up as Prince for Halloween, or the President of the United States serenading him with “Purple Rain.”
The sweet moment took place at the White House Mon- day during the first family’s last big Halloween party.
President Obama was on candy duty when the kid ap- proached him in the trick-or- treat line dressed as His Royal Badness.
“Hey Prince! What’s going on, man?” yelled POTUS before handing him candy and break- ing into the chorus of “Purple Rain.”
President and Mrs. Obama did short version of ‘Thriller’ dance.
The boy’s uncle, Gary Williams, shared the moment on Twitter along with the cap- tion, “When @BarackObama sees your nephew dressed as Prince & starts singing Purple Rain! Unreal! Thank you @POTUS & @MichelleObama!” the Obamas celebrated their last Halloween at the White House.
While handing out candy to children, President Obama encountered a pint- sized Prince, and he couldn’t help himself: He sang some “Purple Rain.” It was not, how- ever, the Obamas’ only ’80s trib- ute moment of the day. Barack and Michelle also gave a re- strained performance of the iconic Michael Jack- son “Thriller” dance.
KKK Paper ‘The Crusader’ Endorses Trump; They Say They Reject It
The Donald Trump campaign rejected an uncomfortable backer Tuesday after the official paper of the Ku Klux Klan warmly embraced the Republican presidential nominee.
The Crusader, a quarterly journal that bills itself as "The Premier Voice of the White Resistance," issued a full-page spread supporting Trump.
"Make America Great Again!' It is a slogan that has been repeatedly used by Donald Trump in his campaign for the presidency," the Crusader's Pastor Thomas Robb wrote.
"You can see it on the shirts, buttons, posters and ball caps such as the one being worn here by Trump speaking at a recent rally. ... But can it happen? Can America really be great again? This is what we will soon find out!"
In a statement, the Trump campaign said: "Mr. Trump and the campaign denounces hate in any form. This publication is repulsive and their views do not represent the tens of millions of Americans who are uniting behind our campaign."
