         Shuffle Step- lateral, forward, back

The ability to shuffle step is critical to skill development. When moving short distances, which
comprise most of the volleyball movements, the shuffle step is a primary form of movement. For
longer distances, turning the hips and running is a better option. The shuffle step allows for
movement in a lower posture and easier stopping.
