Sample Activity


           Athlete performs shuffle step in four directions
              Right foot forward

              Left foot forward


           Athlete performs a block shuffle step to the right and left
           Shuffle step laterally/forward/backward to receive a toss

           Shuffle step to cones on the court, forward/back/right/left
           Shuffle step to a forearm pass/overhead pass













                                                    Checklist





                             Head stay level during movement

                             Weight is  balanced, the  center  of  gravity  at
                                body midline

                             Keep  feet  shoulder-width  apart  as  athlete
                                moves

                             Keep  distance  moving  from  3-6  feet,
                                generally, the athlete will not move a greater
                                distance  than  this  when  playing;  also  with
                                longer distance, the form is compromised.

                             Athlete  should  be  proficient  with  right  foot

                                lead or the left foot lead
