16.3. Personal Effects
The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal effects. When you
leave them on the premises, you do so entirely at your own risk.
16.4. Searching
It is a condition of your employment that you may be searched upon entering or leaving the Company
offices or Company premises, or whilst you are actually on the premises. This rule extends also to Franchise
and Customer’s premises.
You may not introduce or have in your personal possession on the premises any unauthorised weapons or
drugs, (including dagga), or liquor, without prior management approval or permission. Should you break
this rule you may be disciplined and criminally prosecuted.
16.5. Patrol Officers | Security Guards
For your own safety, you must comply with all lawful requests given to you by any Security Guards or Patrol
Officers. This includes the right to a lawful search of your possessions.
16.6. Electronic Monitoring of Company Premises & Telephones
The Company electronically monitors Company premises and records telephone conversations within the
Company for purposes of protecting the interests of the Company, and those of its employees and
customers.
17.1. You must endure that your laptop|PC is locked each and every time that you step away from our desk.
17.2. The Company automatically regulates security on all electronic equipment and servers issued by enforcing
password changes every 42 days and enabling multi factor authentication on the Office 365 program.
17.3. The Company also under takes a clean desk policy which reduces the threat of security as passwords and
confidential information get locked away.
17.4. At the end of the working day staff members are expected to tidy their desk and to clear away all office
papers. The Company provides files and storage for this purpose. All cups|plates etc are to be removed
from desk areas.
