A student engagement tracking program will be implemented.
The College will implement a withdrawal tracking system to capture students who are at risk.
Written materials for student events will be redesigned to encourage transfer and completion activities.
A co-curricular program culminating in digital badges will be implemented.
Faculty will be trained on how to use MyCompass systems.
Institutional Research and Decision Support will research factors that lead to persistence using benchmarks and MCC student characteristics.
Information Technology Services will expand hours in the open computer labs located in CM, MMB and RTC.
The President will monitor completion of the strategic
goal on a monthly basis and stakeholder perception annually.
The President will monitor current trends and best practices on a monthly basis.
The withdrawal rate of students in developmental education will decrease by 5%.
The withdrawal rate of students who placed in developmental education will decrease by 5%.
100% of student events programming will contain transfer and completion messaging.
25% of all students will earn a digital badge.
The number of faculty utilizing MyCompass will be tracked to develop a baseline for future semesters.
A semester report will be prepared highlighting comparative areas of student success and areas that need improvement based on the course and program level outcomes.
