 The President will provide resources where appropriate and required.
The President will stay abreast of and evaluate pertinent national and local trends and high impact practices for information and decision-making.
The Assistant Vice President of Student Success Services will create an AVP-SSSD cabinet to focus on the cultural health of the division.
Public Safety will develop criteria for employee recognition in a matrix format.
Public Safety supervisors will select and submit a candidate for recognition at the monthly supervisor’s meeting.
Information Technology Services leadership will create consistent guidelines for recognizing
staff for work well done.
Leadership Group members in
IA (AVP, FMCC President, and Grants Manager) will develop individualized and written processes for employee recognition.
Workforce and Economic Development will establish employee acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Finance & Administration leadership will read “Five Languages of Appreciation” and develop an appreciation program tailored
to each team member.
Human Resources and the Professional Development Board will assist with acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Human Resources will establish employee acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Institutional Research and Decision Support will establish employee acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Academic Affairs will establish employee acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Academic Affairs will spotlight and recognize an outstanding faculty/staff activity.
The President will monitor completion of the strategic
goal on a monthly basis and stakeholder perception annually.
The President will monitor current trends and best practices on a monthly basis.
Programming for milestone
based departmental & employee acknowledgment is established.
A speakers’ series entitled “This is why SSSD is Mott Strong” is established.
All supervisors use the matrix.
The monthly Public Safety newsletter highlights a departmental employee of the month.
The creation and implementation of a departmental procedure for recognizing and appreciating staff.
Each LG member in IA will have their own process developed
and shared with one another by February 1, 2019. Use of processes will begin by March 1, 2019.
The implementation of established acknowledgment and appreciation practices.
Leaders are using the newly developed process.
Monthly resources are available to MCC leaders via email and the web.
