 File Assessments
Assessments are designed to automatically identify matching hallmarks. The
assessment offered to the user will depend on the file group associated with the
DAC6 File. Each assessment will include a series of question sets that contain one
or many questions with multiple choices. One or more of the choices provided
during the assessment will determine any possible hallmarks that may need to
be reported.

During an assessment, it will be possible to share a question or even a full
question set with another user. This enables other users (Fee Earners & Partners)
or Tax moderators associated with the DAC6 file, to answer question using their
valuable expertise.

Upon completing an assessment, the user will be presented with any hallmarks
that were identified during the assessment process. The user will then be given
the option to append the appropriate hallmarks and to ignore those which are
they consider to be inappropriate. Additionally, if the user believes that there is
currently ‘Nothing to Report’, they will be able to indicate this and specify what
actions should be applied to the file, e.g. scheduling a reminder to review the file
at a late date.

Finally, users will be able to save their progress and exit at any time during the
assessment, so that they can complete the assessment at a later date. When
returning to perform the assessment, the user will be provided with the
opportunity to continue or start a new assessment.
