PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION SEMINAR (PDOS)

Part of pre-deployment activity is crew attending the Pre-
Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS).

OWWA approves the Magsaysay trainer who will facilitate the
seminar.

The accredited trainer is also assigned to tag the attendance

of crew in the system as requisite prior issuance of PDOS
certificates

PDOS facilitators in Manila and Regional office conducts
PDOS regularly

PDOS is valid for 5 years

The Fleet must use the system to endorse crew in PDOS on
the allotted schedule
