MARIA BLANCO Over the past 25 years, I have had various positions in
many television productions. My professional life has
Production Manager flourished and has forever changed because of those
years, from being a camera grip, Production
Assistant, Stage Manager, Assistant Director,
Contestant and Talent Manager to most recently,
being a Production Manager for Telemundo Network.
All of these roles were necessary for me to learn to
become UNSTOPPABLE.
However, my big “power” moment came when I was
asked to be part of the La Voz Kids production with
Telemundo. Starting as a Casting Agent and
finishing the fourth season as a Talent Manager was
a tremendous growth opportunity for me. I reflect
on all the knowledge that I gained from my mentors
and co-workers, and the challenges I faced with the
show’s contestants and their families during those
years. Having the ability to always come up with
solutions is what I feel made me unstoppable in that
moment of my life. It is learning the unknown,
understanding all my capabilities and being driven to
want to succeed.
