Sembakkam Lake in Chennai. Collaborating with
various stakeholders, the three-year project was
initiated in April 2018 and has now completed
the baseline assessment phase. Cleaning of the
lake is in progress now.
Heartfelt Interactions
Employees visited various tribal communities
Conducting classes at the NDLM Centre
and old-age homes in and around Chennai and
Pondicherry to talk, dance, and play games with
seniors, bringing smiles and heartwarming
memories all around.
SPi Global India also supported the well-being
of 86 special children and 193 orphan children
through the non-government organization
Premavasam. We conducted various games and
competitions and provided school stationeries
to children in educational institutions.
Disaster Relief
Throughout the year, SPi employees have

contributed to relief operations for natural
disasters in the southern part of India. These
include contributions to the Puducherry Chief
Minister Relief Fund for emergency relief, the
Kerala Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund for
flood victims, and the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
Relief Fund to provide assistance to survivors of
the Gaja Cyclone in the Delta region.
Law Enforcement
SPi Global provided four police booths in promi-
nent places in Pondicherry, fully equipped to aid
police officers in conducting law enforcement
duties in all weather conditions. These include
public address systems, lights, and fans.
